1) About Studygram
Studygram is a web platform that helps schools and students understand study patterns across five dimensions (Focus, Motivation, Organisation, Study Skills, and Personality) and suggests practical actions (the Services). These Terms govern your use of the Services.

2) Who can use Studygram
You must have legal capacity to accept these Terms.
Students: where required, parent/guardian or school consent is needed before use. As a rule of thumb, students under 15 require parent/guardian or school-mediated consent.
Schools are responsible for ensuring access is appropriate and lawful for their students.
3) Accounts & security
Keep your login secure. You're responsible for activity under your account. If you suspect unauthorised use, contact info@studygram.com.au promptly.
4) Acceptable use
Do not: (a) upload unlawful/unsafe content; (b) attempt unauthorised access; (c) interfere with the Services; (d) mine or profile students; (e) use the Services to advertise to students.
5) Educational information only
Studygram provides educational information and suggestions, not medical, psychological, or legal advice. No outcome is guaranteed. Follow your school's guidelines and any professional advice.
6) Schools & educators
Schools:
- manage invites, permissions and cohorts;
- obtain and manage consent where required;
- remain responsible for lawful processing of student information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
A Data Processing Addendum (DPA) is available on request to set out our processor/service-provider role.
7) Fees & trials
If paid plans are offered, pricing and term lengths appear at checkout or in your order form. Unless required by law, fees are non-refundable once a term begins.
8) Intellectual property
We (or our licensors) own the Services and content. You receive a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the Services for educational purposes while these Terms apply.
9) Your content & feedback
You retain rights in content you submit. You grant us a licence to use it solely to provide, secure, and improve the Services. We may use feedback without obligation.
10) Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and why. We do not sell student data or use it for targeted advertising. We may use aggregated or de-identified data to improve the Services.
11) Service providers & transfers
We use reputable providers, including Laravel Cloud, to host and operate the Services. Data may be processed outside Australia with safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent). A current list of key subprocessors is available on request.
12) Availability & changes
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change features. If we update these Terms, we'll post the new version with a revised "Last updated" date.
13) Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate access for breach, legal risk, or at a school's request. You may stop using the Services at any time. Sections intended to survive termination (IP, disclaimers, liability limits) survive.
14) Disclaimers
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
15) Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, special or consequential loss, loss of data, or loss of profits. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is capped at the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim (or AUD $100 if no fees were paid). Nothing limits rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
16) Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us for losses arising from your unlawful use of the Services or breach of these Terms.
17) Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. The courts of Victoria have exclusive jurisdiction.
